I versus Team

So do we agree or disagree? In my mind the key words are common sense, decency and morals.

We have over complicated everything, made sure we neutralise all reference to gender, removed any opportunity whereby race, religion and sexuality are able to be misinterpreted.

Why would we not go back to applying "common sense, decency and morals"? Did we get it so wrong we have had to re write the book?
